An exchange with the Palermo Bar Association. Palermo Bar Association is one of our twinned bar associations. Many thanks to Professor Sara Chandler KC (Hon) who has worked on the arrangements.  

Any member of WHLS is eligible to join the delegation. We do not anticipate needing to limit numbers but in the event that is necessary, it would be ‘first come first serve’.

Members can fly on dates/times they choose. We all have to pay our own expenses (unless your firm agrees to support you). There will be a modest fee to cover meals etc. 

Plans include a visit to the Appeal Court, meeting the President of the Court and the General Prosecutor, visiting the original cells of the Inquisition and many opportunities to network. Details of the draft plans were sent to members by email on 6 October
